NO TRUNKS was launched in 2001 by Yutaka Murakami. It is located in Kunitachi, West Tokyo. It takes around 30-40min from Shinjuku sation or approximately 1 hour from Tokyo station on the Chuo line.

Yutaka Murakami (Owner):
Born in 1950 (the year of the tiger) he started listening to Jazz since he was 16. Having worked at Shinseido for 37 years he brought up many artist who now play at NO TRUNKS. He has made a big contribution to the Japanese jazz scene, and named Chuo Line Jazz, which is not like a smooth, easy listening jazz, but a poweful jazz with soul.

Live Music:
Starts around 19:30, in 2 sessions. There is no set music charge, but any note contributions are gratefully received by artists.
